You are a leader. You lead yourself. You may also be leading your family, a child, a customer, a community, a Girl Scout troop, or a 10,000 employee company. In a world of constant and sometimes very unpleasant change, highly effective leaders don’t cower back and wonder, “How am I going to make it through the day?” Instead, they step out, square their shoulders, lift their heads, and ask, “Who am I going to become today?” How are you leading in your life?ATM - Become more today than you were yesterday.

Lifeblows can really shake things up; they can create chaos and a sense of instability. However, it’s from the chaos of things that new life often emerges and new order is organized. A sense of chaos and being out of control can be viewed as adding to the adventure, the opportunities, the possibilities, and the mystery of life. It is very possible to do more relaxing into the confusing unknown instead of trying to fix or change something that has run its course, may no longer serve your journey, or is re-creating itself in a way you do not yet understand. Do challenges ever leave you spinning out and struggling to improve things, but to no avail? When that is the case try something new; give the re-organization a chance. ATM - Relax into knowing that many things get better after they’ve been shaken.
